Hey it’s April!
I will not go rambling about how time flies and stuff like this. I only say this much: don’t you sometimes wish the feel of time you had as a kid. When time between lunch and grandmas afternoon treat (read: ice cream, cake, pudding,…) took foreeever?! I sure do.
March was slow and full and hectic. I constantly felt tired, demotivated and just bla. So let’s see if I actually did manage some of my goals as it sure doesn’t seem like it.
Contribution to goal #1
March:
♥ Loosing the next 2 kg
♥ Find some sort of exercise and get moving
Oh my I start this review with a big boohoo. I didn’t loose any weight. I didn’t do any exercise.
April:
♥ my year goal plan tells 2 kg in April. Adding the goal from March I need to loose 5 kg this month. A bit unrealistic I know. Specially with Easter around the corner and a vacation weekend in London. Feeling a bit overwhelmed right now. But I keep trying.
♥ This “walking more” thing seems to be the only thing working for me right now. So I keep doing that as much as possible and now that the weather gets better I might increase my daily steps. I also want to do something about this really bad and annoying back pain. I will give the Terra band a chance.
Contribution to goal #2
March:
♥ Lets not bitch around in March
I feel like I was better.
April:
♥ keep going
Contribution to goal #3
March:
♥ Catch up on February’s task
Well let’s say I tried catching up last day of the month. I cleaned out two drawers. Another one left and I need to go through my shoes.
♥ Clean up Inbox of email accounts
This one was pretty successful. Every newsletter coming in I unsubscribed and I could feel it in an instant. Less emails. And the other day I deleted 300 emails. Feels good.
Not part of my March goals but I cleaned (a lot) in my craft room. My desk has been (more or less) empty for a couple weeks now. It feels great. It’s still a mess but I see a silver lining.
April:
♥ I will clean the insides of the bathroom drawers and shelfs. Oh that means jewelry and make up… Oh no!
♥ finish the February goal.
♥ Cleaning the windows. (And just when I did it’s probably raining like the last couple years…)
Contribution to goal #4
March:
♥ Cook one recipe from one of my books
Finally one thing I completed. I made a Bolognese Sauce from scratch and tried a new waffle recipe. So two books. Only 25 to go.
April:
♥ I just realized I need to do 2-3 recipes a months to finish this challenge… So I better get going.
Contribution to goal #5
March:
♥ Have spring items enter the shop. Again tons of ideas. Make them happen! Just HaHaHa half finish project on my desk at the moment…
skipping April on this one…
Contribution to goal #6
March:
♥ Finish that book and start a classic. I am thinking Wizard of Oz. Dracula is more a winter book… I am also open for suggestions in classic books one has to have read… Mmhm seems like the current bis is reaaaally boring as I maybe read like 10 pages. I might ditch it.
Another April skip-a-do
Contribution to goal #7
March:
♥ Continue
None written. Missed a birthday but because I saw the person two days prior.
April:
♥ 3 Birthdays coming up.
Contribution to goal #8
April:
♥ Always planned April and May to be my blogging month and to get things going for the Blogtacular conference. So I will try to get this CSS thing figured out, read more blogs, comment more, clean up my space…
Contribution to goal #9
March:
♥ Just walk around with open eyes and an open mind.
I tried but I do not think I was so attentive. However I did cut two patterns – a dress for my godchild and a summer blouse for myself.
April:
♥ sew the dress and the blouse and I also need to shorten some curtains.
♥ I participate in Fee’s ABC photo challenge on Instagram and that should spark some creativity.
Well, long list again and again I think I might have overloaded myself but you gotta have goals right? Hop over to Elisa to see how other people are doing.
Happy goal rocking,

I think you did quite well! My March was just crazy and I got none of my goals done, so I am quite impressed that you progressed on most of yours! Have a lovely April, babes.

Ah thank you! I didn’t feel this way but when writing it down it wasn’t as bad as I thought. That’s good to know – we do more than we think!
